Established in 1996, a group of experienced neurologists and neurosurgeons joined together to establish Neuroscience and Spine Associates, P.L. As Florida’s leading practitioners in neurology, neurosurgery, pain management, orthopedics, rehabilitation and diagnostics, their combined resources and expertise, provide patients with the highest quality, most technologically advanced medical care.

Dear Patients,

Dr. Patel, Dr. Joyner and Dr. Havig will be moving to a new medical building at 1250 Pine Ridge Road, Naples FL Suite 202. Starting Friday November 16, 2018 all patients looking to reach Dr. Patel, Dr. Joyner or Dr. Havig's office with questions or to make an appointment are advised to use phone number (239) 325-1135.

Dr. Patel, Dr. Joyner and Dr Havig will be seeing patients at the new location starting Tuesday November 20th.

Dr. Aenlle will be seeing patients at the new location at 1250 Pine Ridge Road, Naples FL Suite 202  on Tuesdays starting November 27th.  All patients looking to make an appointment with Dr. Aenlle are advised to call our North Collier office (239) 566-3434.

    Neurologists are medical doctors who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of the brain, spinal chord, and nervous system diseases. The majority of their specialty for patient care consists of treating Alzheimer's Disease, headaches, neck and back pain, stroke, or injury. They specialize in narrowing the patient to a specific diagnosis to properly treat him/her for their unique medical condition.

    A Neurosurgeon is a physician who specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system including congenital anomalies, trauma, tumors, vascular disorders, infections of the brain or spine, degenerative disease of the spine (cervical, lumbar, and thoracic area), pain instability, and spine disorder leading to nerve compression.

    Pain Management is the process of providing medical care that alleviates or reduces pain. Mild or moderate pain can usually be treated with analgesic medications, such as aspirin, Aleve, and/or Tylenol. For chronic or severe pain, controlled prescriptions may be used and monitored closely. Pain management also introduces the epidural for severe pain to reduce inflammation that is associated with spinal pain. Pain management specialists control the intake of medications and provide the patient with the utmost care for the patient to continue their daily activities in a conservative manner.

    Orthopedics is the branch of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system.
