Biography
Dr. Kapp is the most established and experienced total joint surgeon in Naples. His passion and success are measured in the thousands of total hip and knee joint replacements he has performed on patients that regain their mobility and resume their active lives. Caring for several family members within families is a great tribute to his excellent care.
He offers many options including minimally invasive techniques that he will discuss with you to determine which option is best for your needs. He takes great pride and interest in the numerous revision surgeries that are referred to him from colleagues both near and far. His experience and expertise equate to successful outcomes in these often-complex cases. Dr. Kapp also performs hundreds of arthroscopic procedures every year on an outpatient basis, located adjacent to his office.
Dr. Kapp received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry at Harvard University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He went on to earn his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University in 1982.
He completed his internship and residency in surgery at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He continued with a residency in the Harvard Orthopedic Residency Program at Massachusetts General, becoming chief resident. He has been in private practice in Naples, Florida since 1988.
